2009 Alpine Village Christkindl Post Office

This hand painted intricately detailed series of buildings capture the old time charm of Alpine Towns & Bavarian Hamlets. This uniquely designed piece is based on the post office in Austria. Since 1950 postal clerks have been recieving mail from all over the world. Many children write to Christkindl early in Advent & express their special wishes. If their letters are sent in care of the post office, they will receive a special greeting.
