"Lion Around"

Lions are the only cats that live in large family groups. Each pride differs in size but typically consists of two males, seven females and a variety of cubs. An expectant lioness is pregnant for around 110 days and three or four cubs will be born. Cubs nurse for six to eight months, and depend upon adults for all of their food until they are two years old.
Starlite's sculptures are made from one or any combination of different materials, such as bronze, pewter, Lucite, acrylic, porcelain, resin or wood. A chemical is applied to the sculpture, that when heated will cause oxidation. This etches into the metal & causes a rainbow of color to appear.
