"Man O' War"
Man O War, (March 29, 1917 - November 1, 1947) is thought by many to be
the greatest US thoroughbred racehorse ever. He won 20 of 21 races and
$249,465 in purses during his carreer just after World War I.
Starlite's
sculptures are made from one or any combination of different materials,
such as bronze, pewter, Lucite, acrylic, porcelain, resin or wood. A
chemical is applied to the sculpture, that when heated will cause
oxidation. This etches into the metal & causes a rainbow of color
to appear.
