"Seabiscuit"
Seabiscuit (May 23, 1933 - May 17, 1947) became a champion thoroughbred race horse in the United States. Seabiscuit was an unlikely champion who symbolized hope for Americans during the Great Depression.
Starlite's sculptures are made from one or any combination of different materials, such as bronze, pewter, Lucite, acrylic, porcelain, resin or wood. A chemical is applied to the sculpture, that when heated will cause oxidation. This etches into the metal & causes a rainbow of color to appear.
