"War Horse"
The most easily recognized War Horse was from the Middle Ages. These were
developed from the 8th century and were of a heavy cob type, very
useful for carrying knights in heavy armor. Some of today’s modern
breeds, such as the Hanoverian and Holstein can be traced back to these
early War Horses.
Starlite's
sculptures are made from one or any combination of different materials,
such as bronze, pewter, Lucite, acrylic, porcelain, resin or wood. A
chemical is applied to the sculpture, that when heated will cause
oxidation. This etches into the metal & causes a rainbow of color
to appear.
